Centre for Vision Research (CVR) at York University is an international leader in research of human and machine vision. Brings together researchers from psychology, computer science & engineering, biology and kinesiology & health science, worked at the center is very interdisciplinary and collaborative, rooted in a fundamental research program that combines the techniques of human psychophysics, visual neuroscience and computational theory. Vision health research we deal with the problem of stroke, migraine, brain disorder, autism and visual deficits in aging Canadian population. American University College Vision technology applications including medical devices and aids, visual security, search and rescue, 3D movies, and augmented reality system used in cooperation with NASA and aerospace industry.
