Global Advocacy for HIV Prevention invites applications for 2012 projects Advocacy Fellowship. The American University College project is aimed at supporting emerging and mid-career lawyers to design and implement advocacy projects focused on biomedical research HIV prevention and related activities in their country and society. Advocacy Fellows carry out their projects while based in the Host Organisation which become active partners in the process of Fellowship. This American University College Fellowship provides: Connections Mentoring and capacity to global networks Opportunities for networking and sharing information A small salary and technical assistance and financial support Overhead technical assistance to the Host Organization to cover the costs associated with hosting a Fellow.

-HIV Prevention Research Advocacy Fellowship looking for applicants who: - Emerging or mid-career community leaders and supporters who are involved or interested in HIV prevention research advocacy. http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

- Individuals with some experience or education in the field of HIV and AIDS, public health, medicine, international development, women's rights, communication, or advocacy.
- Based in developing countries where biomedical HIV prevention clinical studies are planned or under way or medical male circumcision for HIV prevention are being introduced.
- Able to work with mentors in English.American University College Applications are encouraged from all countries where such research is underway or being launched, but Advocacy Fellow and key staff at his home / his organization should be able to communicate with staff in English AVAC
